Speech therapist's communication with a child

The text deals with the issues of speech therapist's communication with a child of preschool age. The text of the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis discusses the speech therapy as a branch of science, the term of impaired communication ability, dyslalia and its diagnostics, speech development of a child and child directed speech. Against the background of this information, the text of the practical part of the thesis devoted to the analysis of the speech therapist's communication with a child on the basis of the research. The text informs about the general organization of the hours of the speech therapy, which contributes to efficient work with the child. It also describes the different types of exercises and activities that the speech therapist performs with the child during the speech therapy. It emphasizes individual differences between the observed children. The text also seeks to analyze verbal and nonverbal communication of the speech therapist to note the different practices that the speech therapist used for efficient communication with the child. Effective speech therapy counseling in the treatment of developmental dysphasia and its use across disciplines

The master thesis deals with alternative and augmentative communication for adults with combined disabilities. It defines the theoretical foundations of disability, more specifically combined disability. It also describes the communication of people with combined disabilities and explains concepts such as communication, impaired communication skills or speech therapy intervention for people with combined disabilities. Its disadvantages relate more to alternative and augmentative communication, in which it describes in more detail the methods and systems, diagnostic aspects, training of use or its advantages and benefits. The main purpose of this work is to describe the use of alternative and augmentative communication in the everyday life of adults with combined disabilities, especially in everyday activities and also in the possibility of expressing their needs and feelings. The research survey took place in two phases, in the first phase case studies of adults with combined disabilities were prepared and in the second phase participatory observation and direct work with individual persons was carried out. At the end of the work, the benefits of alternative and augmentative communication in adults with combined disabilities are characterized.
Use of technical devices in speech therapy with people after a stroke

The master's thesis is aimed at the use of technical devices in speech therapy for individuals affected by a stroke. The thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics of a stroke and other speech-related disorders caused as a result of this acute condition. Specific technical devices used in speech therapy are also outlined in this part. The empirical part contains a qualitative research where case studies are applied. The main goal was to identify which technical device was used during a therapy. Moreover, it is clarified why a particular device was chosen by the therapist, its use and further development during the therapy and the patient's relationship towards the technical device while undergoing speech therapy. Speech therapy for dyslalia in first graders

The bachelor's thesis entitled "Speech therapy for dyslalia in first-graders" is from the field of special pedagogy. This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of communication skills in children of younger school age. It focuses on the speech therapy issues of dyslalia and the associated postponement of school attendance. The theoretical part of the work includes the definition of basic terms associated with the field of speech therapy, impaired communication skills, dyslalia described in more detail and finally summarized the basic aspects for the child's entry into school. The practical part includes qualitative research. The aim of the practical part of the work is the analysis of the issue of dyslalia in first graders after a year's postponement of school attendance. The form of case studies for the monitored group of children was used for the elaboration of the research survey. Current approaches in the speech therapy for children with Down syndrome

The thesis discusses the specific therapeutic methods and techniques that can be used in the context of speech therapy for children with Down syndrome who suffer from symptomatic speech disorder. The thesis includes the complete terminological definition of Down syndrome etiology, diagnosis and detailed elaboration of the therapeutic methods. It also includes complementary therapies that contribute to the overall development of the child's communication skills. The main objective of the thesis is to analyze the speech therapy. It may be an inspiration for speech therapists, parents, teachers in kindergartens and primary schools who take care of children with Down syndrome and want to contribute to improvement of communication skills of the children. The thesis can be a starting point for further scientific work that deals with similar issues. Evaluation design therapy of neurogenic disorders of language in clinical speech therapy

The thesis titled Evaluation design therapy of neurogenic disorders of language in clinical speech therapy aims to find out what effect the speech reeducation to improve communication skills in people with acquired neurogenic communication disorders speech. Next, determine whether therapy plays a role during client environment, if the success rate of therapy affected patient's condition and the extent to which the clients are motivated to therapy. The theoretical part summarizes the findings from the literature on neurogenic communication disorders, aphasia and dysarthria. Each chapter is devoted to the terminological definition and definition, etiology, symptoms (for aphasia), classification, diagnostics and therapy. The practical part deals with the research survey. There are set targets mentioned methodology, research sample characteristics and place of the investigation. Following processing of four case studies. Therapeutic materials for adults with dyslalia

This master's thesis deals with the communication disorder dyslalia in adult's age. Firstly brings components of speech intervention, especially speech therapy. Secondly describes dyslalia, its etiology, classification, diagnosis and prevention. Mostly this thesis deals with dyslalia therapy and its adults specifics. It gives examples of usable therapeutic materials in the Czech Republic also abroad. Thesis also judges the situation of adult's therapeutic materials on the market. The main intention was to create a therapeutic material for adults with dyslalia diagnosis. It was created 100 worksheets for frequently disturbed Czech sounds (L, R, Ř, Č, Š, Ž, C, S, Z, ČŠŽ / CSZ). Proposal for group logopaedic therapy for people with Parkinson's disease

OF THE THESIS This Master's thesis is dedicated to providing a complete account and analysis of activities designed to tackle specific logopaedic difficulties associated with Parkinson's disease. The principal theoretical sections of this thesis are concerned with an in-depth overview of Parkinson's disease and hypokinetic dysarthia (a speech disorder associated with Parkinson's disease), the dynamics of working with a group of senior participants, the Parkinson Society, the place of logopaedic therapy in Society and of specific components of logopaedic therapy aimed at persons with Parkinson's disease. The practical section which follows then proposes and carefully outlines specific activities suitable for such therapy. Activities are classified by their objectives - areas they intend to exercise improve. Designs of two model lessons comprising a combination of the activities proposed in the preceding chapters are included in the final section of the thesis.

This thesis "Speech Therapy of Children with Developmental Dysarthria" deals with dysarthria and specific therapeutic methods that can be used in the context of speech therapy for children with this specific type of communication disorder. Part of the thesis includes the complete terminological definition of dysarthria etiology, its classification, its diagnosis and a detailed treatment of therapeutic methods. This thesis also includes supplemental methods, which is important for good child developmental and positively influences child speech. The main objective is to introduce potential therapeutic methods and subsequently analyze the frequency of their use in speech therapy. This thesis can be used as inspiration for speech therapists, who will lead therapy with children who have dysarthria.
